Basic information

Alpha+ chambers come in three series - H series (condensation chambers), S series (salt spray chambers for short-term tests) and SP series (salt spray chambers for long-term tests). You can choose from a total of 6 condensation and salt spray chambers with an internal capacity of 500 or 1,000 l. The robust construction of glass fiber reinforced plastic provides a strong and durable material, whose chemical properties and corrosion resistance ensure a long service life. They have a fully transparent, self-supporting lid without transitions offering excellent 360° visibility. The salt spray chambers are equipped with advanced controls, which include a peristaltic pump brine pumping system, complemented by a precisely adjustable speed controller. This ensures a consistent salt spray rate during long-term tests without the presence of an operator.

Other key features of the Alpha+ include a lid lock for easier sample loading, a self-healing seal to prevent salt spray from escaping during chamber operation, a touch screen with an ergonomically positioned menu for convenient and intuitive operation, an end time setting function and an operating hour countdown, maximum functional division of the sample space, which allows testing a large number of samples at once without affecting ergonomics, free sample holders and, as an optional accessory, an internal loading platform on the bottom of the chamber for large/heavy objects. Salt spray standards: ASTM B117, ČSN EN ISO 9227, DIN 50 021, JIS Z 2371. Humidity standards: DIN 50 017-KK, DIN 50 017-KFW, DIN 50 017-KTW, ČSN EN ISO 6270-2, VDA 621-421, ASTM D2247, BS 3900 Part F2. All chambers carry the CE mark as a guarantee of quality and compliance with European directives. Optional accessories can be purchased for the chamber to extend its functions.
