If you need to measure vibrations directly on a machine in operation, PCB Piezotronics offers suitable converters and transmitters for 4-20 mA signals. These enable direct connection of the output signal from the vibration measuring sensor to the PLC or DCS operation control system. This gives you an overview of the output from these sensors, in the form of acceleration, amplitude or speed, online in real time and whenever you need it. This is invaluable help, which in the case of monitoring key machines for production can significantly reduce production downtime caused by undetected machine defects. The offer includes separate components or standard transmitters for mounting on a DIN rail. If connection to a PLC is not possible, we can assemble a complete protection circuit from PCB components, including an alarm, display and a shutdown signal for the machine.
Miniature signal transmitters connect the sensor directly to the control system. A special bearing monitoring solution, consisting of a sensor and a wireless or DIN rail-mounted transmitter, allows for early detection of bearing defects, whether they are cracks or seizure. In conjunction with vibration protectors, it offers a special solution for monitoring bearing defects or sudden shocks caused, for example, by the impact of a foreign object on the machine. The components are standalone or designed for mounting in a switchboard (DIN rail).
