Basic information
We will present here brief characteristics of individual types of microphones and amplifiers. Each of them is of course offered in a whole range of designs. Pre-polarized microphones are a modern concept, equipped with ICP® sensors and BNC or 10-32 connectors. Therefore, they can be replaced with pressure sensors or accelerometers of the same design. Another advantage is the relatively low price. Microphones of traditional, externally polarized design are compatible with microphones from other manufacturers and are equipped with a traditional, 7-pin connector in acoustics. They are offered in a very wide range of dimensions and sensitivities. Sound preamplifiers with patented Phantom power technology are compatible with most 1/2`` and ¼`` microphones on the market, using a unique steel diaphragm. For special purposes, microphones such as low-frequency ones designed for capturing aerodynamic noise and noise transmitted from the drivetrain of cars, dust and water-resistant directional microphones, surface microphones, microphones for high temperatures are offered.
