Weisstechnik and Vötschtechnik dust chambers are used to test the resistance of products to the ingress of dust and solid particles.
With the dust test chambers from Weisstechnik (Vötschtechnik), you can test the ingress protection against solid particles according to DIN EN 60529 (VDE 0470-1) IP5X and IP6X. Optional accessories are also available. This makes it possible to test products according to other standards and specifications, for example: ISO 20653, SAE J 575, MIL STD 810, IEC 68068.
Standard dust chambers are manufactured with test chamber sizes of 1000 and 2000 liters. However, the size of the test chamber can be customized on request, tailored to the requirements. VDT dust chambers are equipped with large glass doors with special seals. A funnel is located under the bottom of the chamber, where dust is collected, then shaken out and swirled back into the test chamber at adjustable intervals.
