Clamping and vibration fixtures

It is not always easy to ensure the appropriate clamping of test specimens according to customer requirements. The clamping fixtures must be sufficiently rigid, without distortion and resonance to transmit the mechanical vibrations of the exciter (vibrator) to the tested object, etc. The tests must always correspond as closely as possible to the effects of the real environment. Such clamping of test specimens usually requires the use of special clamping fixtures enabling the transmission of mechanical vibrations in certain directions. The method of attachment (fixing) used and the design of the clamping fixture therefore have a fundamental influence on the quality of the testing and the results.
