ASCOTT salt chambers enable reproducible corrosion and condensation tests in accordance with national and international standards such as DIN, IEC, ČSN, etc. These high-quality devices, with volumes ranging from 120 to 2600 liters or more, can easily simulate the environment found, for example, in coastal areas or during winter vehicle operation. Testing products in such harsh conditions optimizes their resistance to sea salt and salt spread on roads. Testing can also be carried out with neutral salt solutions (NSS), in an acidic environment using acetic acid (ASS), or in the presence of copper chloride (CASS). Last but not least, it is also possible to simulate acid rain (SO2) using the well-known Kesternich test.
