Regular calibration of temperature and humidity is necessary to achieve comparable measurement and test values, due to the precise repeatability and traceability of tests in the testing equipment. Calibration is also required in the ISO 9000 standard specifications to ensure the quality of all testing equipment. We always determine the measurement range in consultation with the customer according to the method of use of the equipment. Laboratory No. 2358, our Holab division, declares its legally enforceable responsibility for the management of all information obtained or created during the performance of calibration and related activities, with regard to their confidentiality and the results of the calibration performed.
Accredited calibration according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025 - is performed by an entity that holds a valid accreditation certificate. This certificate is issued by an accreditation body, such as ČIA. Calibration is performed in accordance with calibration procedures approved by the ČIA accreditation body. All methods are validated at regular intervals and interlaboratory comparisons with ČMI are performed. All accredited laboratories (including ours) are required to have control mechanisms that are precisely defined and enshrined in the Quality Manual and assessed annually by the accreditation body. An accredited calibration laboratory must meet all the requirements and conditions of ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
Non-accredited calibration - is performed only according to the internal procedures of the given calibration laboratory, and the calibration laboratory thus includes only those control elements that it considers necessary. This means that a sophisticated control mechanism is not maintained, and individual results may differ from those obtained by an accredited laboratory.
We are authorized to perform calibrations of temperature and humidity measuring instruments in temperature and climate chambers with temperature and humidity control.
