Modal Shop, a division of our partner PCB Piezotronics, offers a rental program for its products to all interested parties. Together, we are preparing to rent out almost the entire Modal Shop portfolio. This service is available to all our existing and potential business partners.

Basic information

When is it worth renting a sensor, device, or various accessories? When you have limited capital, want to test the device, or are unable to purchase it at the moment. In such cases, rent the product from us. If you need to perform a special test or a one-time test, this is also an ideal scenario for renting our equipment. Another scenario may be when you are considering purchasing a sensor but want to try it out first. In such a case, try out the equipment in practice under our rental program. We would also like to mention another common scenario for using equipment under our rental program. This is when your sensor or device is being repaired or recalibrated. You can easily cover the temporary outage.

What are the advantages of renting equipment?

When renting, you do not need to worry about recalibration and servicing of sensors and other equipment. All sensors and equipment are delivered with an accredited calibration certificate. If you are unsure how a particular sensor or scanner will work in your operation, or whether it is suitable for your application, you can test it. You can even test multiple types of products to find the right one that meets your technical requirements.

What should I do if I am interested in equipment in the Modal Shop rental program?

  • Contact us.
  • Together, we will design a suitable sensor or device.
  • We will determine what accessories you will need (cable length, etc.).
  • Together, we will verify the availability of the device.
  • You will receive the sensors and other rented equipment directly into your own hands. Shipping is handled directly by the manufacturer.
  • The rental period begins on the day the device is delivered to you.
  • The minimum rental period is 15 days.
  • The rental ends on the day the device is returned to Modal Shop (PCB Piezotronics).
  • We will help you with the return shipment.

Purchase of equipment from the rental program.

Once the equipment has proven itself in your operation and you decide to keep it, you can purchase it at any time on favorable terms. Just contact us.
