Our business partner, Vibration Research (VR), based in the USA and with more than 20 years of business history, is a leading innovator in the field of vibration management and evaluation. Vibration Research is headquartered in Jenison, Michigan. Representation for the Czech and Slovak Republics is provided by our team of experts, at KAITRADE spol. s r.o. Thanks to many years of listening to customer needs, together we offer unrivaled testing products, software and support.
The quality and accuracy of all Vibration Research products was first emphasized in the early 1990s by President and CEO John Van Baren, who set the goal of developing the best industrial control unit.
Thanks to the technological advancement of all products and Vibration Research’s commitment to employing top specialists in the field and collaborating with the greatest experts in vibration control, Vibration Research products help customers with laboratory testing that accurately simulates real-world situations. And these solutions are used all over the world. This makes it a global supplier.
Vibration Research’s most widely used products include the highly popular and powerful VR9500 vibration controller and the easy-to-use VibrationVIEW software.
These and other VR products are used by end-user and subcontractor testing laboratories as well as industrial testing facilities in a wide range of industries worldwide. Innovative and patented applications such as FDR, Kurtosion®, FDS, iDOF® and STAG have long been solving real-world industry problems such as over- or under-testing and predicting product fatigue limits.
STAG, since 2020 - Sine Wave Tracking, Analysis and Generation (STAG). Generate an accelerated sine-random test representative of operating environments that have background random and dominant sinusoidal vibrations. STAG generates accelerated sine profiles from the recording and uses FDS to analyze the remaining random content.
IDOF, since 2015 - Instant Degrees of Freedom® (iDOF). A random vibration test module designed to solve the problem of over- or under-testing products. Instant Degrees of Freedom (iDOF) allows manufacturing companies to perform highly accurate vibration tests in a reduced time while ensuring that their resulting products are tested for the correct duration.
FDS, since 2010 - Fatigue Damage Spectrum (FDS). Helps predict the expected life of products through accelerated testing. What is the best random test to simulate the product environment? How long should a random test be run? Is it possible to accelerate testing? If you are asking these questions, you need FDS.
Kurtosion, since 2005 - Add a third dimension to random vibration testing when the operating vibration environment is not Gaussian. Where is the potential for product damage the greatest? Typically at PEAK acceleration levels. To make the real test more reflective of what happens to products in real-world use!
FDR, since 1995 - Field Data Replication (FDR). Allows you to replay collected data in real time (time history) and reproduce it on vibration equipment in test labs. There is no need to approximate the field environment using approximations inherent in standard random, sine or shock tests.
Vibration Controllers - Software and Hardware. Set up and securely control vibration tests using any VR hardware and generate customized reports. Configure VibrationVIEW control software for test modules in the required quantity. Choose control hardware based on your specific needs.
Electrodynamic Vibration Exciters. Devices suitable for vibration testing of small products and for performing modal analysis. Each system consists of a vibration exciter (vibrator) and a corresponding linear direct coupled power amplifier. Additional components can be added to the basic system to customize it to specific user needs.
Portable Sources and Signal Analyzers. Collect data at the push of a button using the battery-powered ObserVR1000 and a mobile interface. Store data on an SD card when running individual test modes or use the device alone as a field data logger for subsequent analysis.
